Drive the most ambitious agenda for Haleon - Geo Expansion in Rural markets and Access agenda to help deliver Health in more hands
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans for rural markets, identify growth opportunities, and achieve regional sales targets.
- Channel Management: Expand and strengthen rural distribution networks, ensure product availability and visibility, and build strong relationships with channel partners
Team Leadership:
- Work closely with the team of ASMs directly and TSEs/ASEs indirectly to deliver GTM, FFE, infra, and topline as per aligned plans in Rural markets
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of rural CMEs, Conduct performance reviews and foster a culture of accountability and excellence
Rural Marketing & Activation:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute localized campaigns, ensure effective in-store promotions, and leverage rural-specific events.
- Work closely with HO Comex and activation team to drive impactful activations to build superior brands in the rural markets.
KPI Management:
- Responsible for all Comex KPI like 3P FF, expansion, FFE, coverage for the rural markets for the region
Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of rural markets and sales dynamics
- Expertise in distribution management and route-to-market strategies
- Analytical skills to derive insights from market data
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Overall experience: 8-12 years with minimum 2-3 years for experience in rural sales management
- Tenure in current role: 1 year+ (Haleon)
- Track record of achieving targets in challenging rural environments
Other Details:
- Reporting To: Direct Reporting to RH, Matrix reporting to National Rural Manager
- Location: Regional HQ with frequent travel to rural areas
- Direct Reports: 1 executive
