- The primary purpose of a GTM Lead in Haleon is to design, develop and deliver the Go to Market strategy & plans for India. This includes identifying and pursuing product go-to-market process, plan timelines, launch scenarios, pricing and promotions, undertake constant competitor analysis. Develop a detailed knowledge of the markets' actual needs and create and implement solutions.

- The role will also work closely with other regional team and member of Commercial Excellence team to both draw inspiration and get their expertise/support to build and execute future thinking for the geography. The expectation is also to envisage to incubate business ideas for future hence the incumbent must come with strong business and growth mindset with both current and future business perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

The role has the following key deliverables:

RTM Plan:

- Putting up right ways and plan for Spoke expansion in Rural for the upcoming years by state

- Ideal HUB requirement both from coverage and invest point of view

- Alternate ways to reach to Rural consumers/customers across India that is innovative

- Making inroads into wholesale channel in Semi-urban and Rural

- Right ways of working Manpower planning for all India across all levels and support it with business plan

- TSE, DSR, USR ways of working, PJP planning etc.

- Right Span of control of DSR/USR

- Automation Digital coverage of Rural and creating a heat map across district in India

- Ways of working to be digitized for DSR/USR including PJP/Travel etc.

- Get all program partners on to a digital platform to digitize target setting, communication, payout etc.

- Organic Growth Plans to drive same store growth for the geography

- Mandi activation to drive preference for our brands

Managing Cost to Serve:

- Trade Spends Management

- Premia plan and appropriate growth aspiration

- Optimize cost of serve of 3P {DSR/USE}

- Hub Freight to be optimized

Unlocking support for the region:

- Drive great stakeholder management with all concerned stake holders e.g. Supply, marketing, customer marketing, Display team etc. to enable all the plans for the year

Knowledge/Education Required:

- Minimum Level of Education Required

- MBA - General Management / Business Management

Why is it required?

- The incumbent would be required to plan yearly business, provide long term forecast, manage spends and ensure ROI.

- Ability to make decisions based on analytics and tools to keep the business in course.

Previous Experience Required:

- 5+ years of which at least 2 years will be as a first line sales manager in consumer industry.


- Knowledge of Rural working and knowledge of Rural demand generation is mandatory and building a new go to market knowledge is preferred.
