
Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to drive sales performance, build strong customer relationships, and grow market presence within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sales strategies, developing a strong pipeline, coaching field teams, and ensuring consistent achievement of revenue targets. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and prior experience in technical/product-oriented sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, track, and report territory-wise sales performance and achievements.
- Manage, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- Assist in designing and executing annual marketing and sales plans.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Strengthen dealer/distributor relationships and ensure strong channel performance.
- Lead product presentations, customer interactions, and negotiations to close deals.
- Coordinate with internal sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless order execution.
- Ensure timely submission of sales forecasts, reports, and documentation.
- Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
