About the Role:

Our client is a growing multi-country business with operations across East Africa, including production, supply chain and commercial activities.

As the organisation continues to grow, the Group Finance function is strengthening its financial reporting, planning and performance management capabilities.

We are looking for a Group FP&A and Reporting Manager to lead Group management reporting, financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis.

This is a hands-on Group-level role requiring a strong combination of accounting knowledge, consolidation, management reporting and FP&A experience. The role will work closely with country finance teams, operational leaders and senior management to ensure financial results are reliable, understood and translated into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the monthly Group management accounts process, from country submissions through to the consolidated Group reporting pack.

- Deliver a consistent view of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and key operational KPIs across countries.

- Own Group consolidation workings, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation and Group-level adjustments.

- Review country submissions for completeness, accuracy and consistency.

- Ensure consolidated reporting reconciles with country submissions and material movements have clear explanations.

- Coordinate with country Finance Directors to resolve accounting errors, incomplete schedules, unsupported balances and reporting gaps.

- Prepare concise management commentary highlighting performance, risks, opportunities and decisions required.

- Establish a consistent approach to comparing actual results against budget, forecast and prior year.

- Analyse and explain material variances through identifiable business drivers.

- Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting process across countries and functions.

- Maintain practical Group accounting policies and reporting guidance to promote consistent application across countries.

- Transition recurring consolidation, management reporting and planning activities into the Group Finance function.

- Manage and develop the Group FP&A Analyst.

Candidate Profile:

- Recognised accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.

- Relevant experience in management accounting, FP&A and multi-entity consolidation.

- Hands-on experience with Group management reporting and consolidated financial statements.

- Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow.

- Experience with intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation.

- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.

- Strong Excel skills and practical experience with ERP and reporting systems.

- Experience working with senior finance and business leadership.

Why This Role:

This is an opportunity to take a Group-level finance leadership role in a growing, operationally complex business, with visibility across multiple countries and functions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening financial reporting, improving planning and forecasting, and helping senior management translate financial and operational information into better business decisions.
