Group Head/Chief Finance Officer - Chartered Accountant - Finance & Accounts - Textile Manufacturing

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Chartered Accountant to oversee the entire Accounts and Finance operations across all our group units - including spinning, sweater, and knitting divisions. The candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, analytical acumen, and a comprehensive understanding of textile manufacturing business cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management & Strategy

- Lead and supervise accounting operations for all business units.

- Prepare and analyse consolidated financial statements and MIS reports.

- Formulate and implement financial strategies to support business growth and cost optimization.

- Manage working capital, fund flow, and banking relationships.

2. Accounting & Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate book closure, statutory audits, and finalization of accounts.

- Oversee compliance with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations.

- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and financial institutions.

- Implement internal financial controls and ensure adherence across units.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for management review.

- Track and monitor cost of production, overheads, and profitability across spinning, knitting, and garment units.

- Drive initiatives for cost efficiency and process improvement.

4. ERP & Systems Implementation

- Lead ERP integration for accounts, inventory, and production modules.

- Ensure real-time financial reporting and transparency through digital systems.

5. Leadership & Team Development

- Supervise accounts teams at each unit; build capability and ensure alignment of financial processes.

- Act as a key advisor to management on financial planning, investments, and risk management.

Key Skills & Attributes:

- Strong command over accounting standards, taxation, and audit principles.

- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Tally Prime / BUSY / customized textile ERP).

- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

- Experience in handling multi-unit operations within manufacturing or textile sectors.

Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

- Additional qualification in Cost Accounting or MBA (Finance) preferred.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience and capabilities.
