Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing client relationships, leading the sales team, and achieving revenue targets.
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, team leadership, customer engagement, and market insight. The Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding the companys market presence and ensuring customer satisfaction through consultative selling and effective relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve company revenue goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments to expand market reach.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and present performance reports to management.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales executives to achieve individual and team targets.
- Set clear KPIs and performance objectives, providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Conduct sales training sessions to enhance product knowledge, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
- Develop customized solutions to meet client needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Handle negotiations, proposals, and contract closures with a focus on profitability and long-term relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and ensure timely resolution of client issues.
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Prospect and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and alliances to drive growth.
- Participate in industry conferences and trade shows to represent the company and promote its offerings.
Reporting & Process Improvement:
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline reports, and customer information using CRM tools.
- Monitor and optimize the sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams on market demand, trends, and customer insights.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 23 years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B or B2C environments.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and MS Office tools.
