About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Team Manager (Telesales) to lead and inspire our inside sales professionals. This role demands a strong blend of strategic sales management, people leadership, and hands-on execution to drive revenue growth, client engagement, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B/B2C telesales, team management, and performance optimization within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a robust telesales strategy aligned with organizational revenue goals.
- Conduct detailed market research to identify potential clients, assess demand, and uncover new business opportunities.
- Design and implement effective lead generation, qualification, and conversion campaigns.
- Drive consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets through structured planning and team motivation.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of telesales executives to deliver exceptional performance.
- Monitor KPIs including call volumes, conversion ratios, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and skill enhancement programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure sustained business growth.
- Actively engage with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Resolve escalations effectively and ensure superior post-sale client experiences.
Operational & Reporting Excellence:
- Leverage CRM systems and analytics to track sales performance, pipeline metrics, and forecast accuracy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to enhance lead quality and retention.
- Present sales insights, revenue forecasts, and actionable recommendations to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5-8 years of progressive experience in telesales or inside sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams and deliver consistent revenue growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) and data-driven decision-making.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and adept at working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
