JD - Finance Controller (FMCG Experience)

We are looking for a Finance Controller to oversee the financial operations of our company. The Finance Controller will be responsible for managing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. This is a key role in our organization, and the Finance Controller will work closely with senior management to provide strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.

- Manage the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal requirements.

- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.

- Analyse financial data and provide insights to senior management.

- Develop and implement strategies for improving financial performance.

- Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.

- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals.

Required Skills:

- Master's degree in accounting or finance; CA (Priority), CPA or CMA certification preferred.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting

- Experience of working in FMCG Sector/Domain is must.

- Experience in managing and leading a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Auditing experience and Compliance oriented.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software programs

- Proven experience in finance management.
