Role Summary: Business Development - Drive strategic business development to expand business opportunities in the region for the animal feed business. - Work with team to achieve volumes, value and contribution target for the particular category. - Expand distribution channels by effectively managing distributors and appoint new distributors if necessary. - Debtor control - Optimize utilization of the allotted annual budget which includes managing both fixed costs and variable costs. - Work on marketing strategy in coordination with category manager Process Development - Coordinate and manage the collection process from the dealers and distributors to ensure timely payments. - Manage credit limits allocated to distributors and work out increase/decrease of the same based on business needs. - Work on the process of building customer data base and work on strategy to increase customer base. People Management - Manage the entire sales team and coordinate with support functions in the region. - Accountable for the competency and career development of the team. - Build and develop the skills and knowledge of the team members through regular training interventions and learning programs, as per the identified needs of each individual. Qualification & Experience: - MBA / PGDM - 6 - 10 years of experience in sales with at least 2 years of team leading experience in rural markets - Willing to travel extensively
