Global PayEx - IT Project/Program Manager

PFA the JDs for IT Project/Program Mgr

- Monitor the progress of projects against pre-agreed timelines

- Handle a portfolio of projects and clients in parallel from Fortune 1000 companies and across geographies

- Plan for a quarter ahead and develop an execution plan for projects and people in the team.

- Need to be ahead of both client and internal resources in planning and execution

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with product delivery, the sales team, client and account managers

- Make sure that the projects are achieving promised business value/RoI and figure out ways to achieve it if there is a gap

- Build Rapport with clients and manage those effectively, high end consulting touch would be required

- Manage escalations, variations, complexities in projects effectively

- Able to effectively use the established frameworks in project execution, client handling, resource utilization, resource mentoring etc.

- Escalate to relevant stakeholders proactively to avoid grievances later track the project running costs against signed-off budgets be responsible for the successful delivery of products and projects

- Run risk assessments and present them to the leadership team

- Present all of the above in templated reports and dashboards

You should ideally:

- Be a BS preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical fields

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Know how to navigate across teams with different priorities and personalities

- Understand risks and escalate them

- Be stubborn with timelines but grounded in the realities of a startup

- Learn how to decipher ambiguous status provided by colleagues and clients

- Be a whiz in Excel, Powerpoint, or similar tools

- Have a keen sense of budgets vs. costs

- Learn how to present the root causes of possible future failures in a lucid manner

- Experience in leading and mentoring people as part of the project life cycle

- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

- Strong communication and presentation skills
