Job Title: Business Development Manager Education (School Admissions)

Location: Charoli

Employment Type: Full-Time (On-site)

Working Days: 5.5 days per week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead and execute the student enrollment and growth strategy for Global Indian International School (GIIS), Charoli. The role involves driving business development initiatives, managing marketing activities, and strengthening relationships to achieve and exceed student admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

- Develop and implement the schools business development strategy aligned with annual enrollment and revenue objectives.

- Plan, coordinate, and execute ATL (Above-the-Line) and BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence and generate inquiries.

- Organize and oversee education fairs, seminars, open houses, and promotional events to maximize lead generation.

- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and venues to expand the schools market reach.

- Monitor local market trends and competitor activities to refine and adapt business development strategies.

Admissions & Lead Management

- Drive the end-to-end student enrollment process by generating, qualifying, and converting leads into admissions.

- Ensure a seamless and positive experience for prospective parents, addressing inquiries and providing detailed information on school programs and facilities.

- Work closely with the Admissions Team to streamline the onboarding and counseling process for new students.

- Maintain an updated database of inquiries, leads, and conversions using CRM and reporting systems.

Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement

- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with parents, communities, and institutional partners.

- Serve as the key point of contact for local partnerships, schools, and organizations for collaborative initiatives.

- Guide and mentor the Admissions Executive in executing onboarding and outreach activities.

- Represent the school professionally at all external events and forums to strengthen the institutions brand presence.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Prepare and present regular business development reports to management, analyzing performance metrics and conversion trends.

- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Coordinate closely with marketing, admissions, and academic teams to ensure consistent communication and goal alignment.

Key Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the education sector (schools, EdTech, or training institutions).

Skills & Competencies:

- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution of business development initiatives.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Demonstrated success in achieving sales or enrollment targets.

- Excellent organizational, analytical, and presentation abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
