
Role Overview
The Global Head - Talent Acquisition will be responsible for leading the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for a large Indian conglomerate with diverse business interests across geographies. The role will drive workforce planning, leadership hiring, and large-scale recruitment transformation aligned with the Group's growth, innovation, and sustainability agenda.
This position requires a strategic leader who can build a future-ready talent engine, strengthen employer brand equity globally, and deliver best-in-class hiring practices across multiple business verticals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with business growth objectives and long-term workforce planning.
- Partner with Group CXOs and business leaders to anticipate talent needs and build proactive hiring pipelines.
- Lead transformation initiatives to modernize talent acquisition practices, including competency-based hiring frameworks.
Talent Delivery & Operations
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment across geographies, ensuring quality, speed, and cost efficiency.
- Drive large-scale and leadership hiring across diverse industries and functions.
- Establish standardized processes, governance frameworks, and SLAs for hiring across all business units.
Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Build and position the organization as an employer of choice through integrated branding and recruitment marketing strategies.
- Enhance candidate experience through process optimization, digital interventions, and engagement frameworks.
- Leverage digital platforms and social channels to strengthen talent outreach.
Data & Technology Enablement
- Implement data-driven recruitment practices using HR analytics, dashboards, and predictive hiring models.
- Drive adoption of advanced Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
- Monitor key hiring metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality of hire) and continuously improve performance.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and business leadership to ensure alignment on talent priorities.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global talent acquisition team.
- Manage escalations and ensure seamless stakeholder and candidate experience.
Financial & Governance
- Manage talent acquisition budgets and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal governance standards across regions.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 20+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with significant leadership exposure in large, complex organizations.
- Proven track record in managing global hiring mandates and large-scale recruitment transformation.
- Experience in conglomerates, manufacturing, infrastructure, or diversified business groups preferred.
Education
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in Talent Acquisition, HR Analytics, or Employer Branding are advantageous.
