General Sales Manager - Pharmaceutical Machinery

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Sales Leader with 20 to 30 years of proven success in sales, preferably within capital equipment, tablet tooling, or pharmaceutical machinery sectors. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in driving national sales growth, nurturing key client relationships, and expanding market presence across India.

Professionals from other relevant industries with a strong sales background and dynamic leadership qualities are also encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities


- Lead end-to-end sales efforts for capital equipment, tablet tooling, and pharmaceutical machinery across Pan India.


- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

- Identify and acquire new customers while nurturing long-term relationships with existing clients.

- Collaborate closely with the marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment with customer needs.

- Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.

- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for expansion.

- Travel extensively across India for business development, client meetings, and industry events.


Key Qualifications

Educational:

- MBA in Marketing and sales (preferred)

Professional Experience:

- 20 to 30 years of experience in B2B industrial sales.

- Strong domain knowledge in capital equipment, pharma machinery, or tablet tooling is preferred.

- Dynamic professionals from other sectors with strong industrial sales experience are welcome.


Key Skills and Competencies


- Proven track record in capital equipment/industrial sales

- Strong leadership and negotiation skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- Ability to work independently and drive results

- Willingness to travel extensively across India
