Job Description :

Role : Head Strategic Sourcing (GM Level)

Role Overview :

Lead the company's strategic sourcing function with focus on cost leadership, supplier development, and sourcing transformation aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement category sourcing strategies

- Drive cost reduction through localization, VA/VE, and global sourcing

- Lead should-costing and ZBC costing initiatives

- Manage supplier identification, evaluation, and development

- Lead RFQ/RFP, negotiations, and contract finalization

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for NPD and operations

- Ensure supplier readiness (APQP/PPAP)

- Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure alternate sourcing

- Drive inventory optimization and process excellence

- Lead and develop sourcing team with defined KPIs

Key Skills :

- Strategic sourcing and category management

- Negotiation and commercial acumen

- ZBC costing and should-costing expertise

- Supplier and stakeholder management

- Automotive sourcing processes (RFQ, APQP, PPAP)

- Data-driven decision making and analytics

- Leadership and team management
