GM / Head Safety, Health & Environment (EHS)
Location: Ludhiana / Budhni
About the Role:
We are seeking a senior Head EHS to lead safety, health, and environmental initiatives across textile manufacturing units. This role will ensure regulatory compliance, employee safety, and sustainable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
EHS Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement company-wide EHS policies and systems.
- Lead EHS audits, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring.
- Develop a safety-first culture across all manufacturing units.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and statutory regulations.
- Manage workplace safety programs, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including waste management and energy conservation.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Train and mentor teams on EHS best practices.
- Liaise with government agencies, auditors, and clients on EHS matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Safety, Industrial Engineering, or Environment Management.
- 15+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and international standards.
