General Manager - Research & Development - Electricals

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking General Manager - R&D (Electrical) to lead the Research and Development initiatives for the Electrical domain. This role will focus on driving innovation, product development, and technology advancements. The position demands strong technical expertise, proven leadership, business strategy, and ensuring timely delivery of cutting-edge solutions for global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Electrical Design & Development: Lead the design and development of advanced electrical systems, ensuring innovation, reliability, and scalability.

- Costing & Optimization: Drive cost analysis and value engineering to ensure competitive product pricing without compromising quality or performance.

- Failure Analysis: Oversee root cause investigations and corrective actions for product failures, ensuring continuous improvement.

- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to international compliance and certification standards (IEC, ISO, CE, IEEE,UL,CSA etc.) across all R&D projects.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including leadership, cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers.

- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing R&D team, fostering innovation and accountability.

- IoT & Digital Integration: Drive integration of IoT and digital technologies into products, enabling smart, connected solutions.

- Technology Leadership: Stay updated on global technology trends, applying them to enhance product competitiveness and business growth.
