General Manager - Projects - Chemical - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

The role demands that the Candidate understands requirements of Green field Project initiation, planning & follow up culminating with Project implementation & successful commissioning which includes.

- Understand local laws & procedures for:

1. Land acquisition

2. Drawing power line & development of power infrastructure at Site

3. Drawing water line & laying of required infrastructure

4. Solid waste, sewage & effluent treatment & discharge

5. Obtaining environment clearance for Project construction and operation

6. Any other requirements to initiate Project work

- Getting clearances/approval for:

1. Land acquisition

2. Drawing power line & development of power infrastructure at Site

3. Drawing water line & laying of required infrastructure

4. Solid waste, sewage & effluent treatment & discharge

5. Environment clearance for Project construction and operation

6. Any other statutory requirement to initiate Project work

- Liase with Project engineering & construction team to provide required assistance & support for Project implementation

- On mechanical completion of Plant, ensure testing & pre-commissioning activities leading to successful commissioning of the Plant & facilities

Qualification & experience desired:

- Have around 19 years of work experience covering the following:

1. Operation of medium/large Chemical facility

2. Project planning & implementation

3. Liasoning with /government bodies

Tantalum and Niobium and Project - Mandatory

- Should have graduated in Chemical/Mechanical engineering from a premier Institute from India
