Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Greenfield Project Leadership: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the greenfield project from initiation, planning, and meticulous follow-up to successful implementation and final commissioning.

- Engineering & Construction Synergy: Liaison closely with the project engineering and construction teams, providing strategic direction, assistance, and support to keep project timelines on track.

- Commissioning Excellence: Drive all testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities to ensure the successful, safe, and efficient operational startup of the plant and facilities.

- Regulatory & Liaison Management: Establish and maintain robust relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and local stakeholders in Namibia to secure necessary clearances and compliance.

- Operational Oversight: Transition the project smoothly from the commissioning phase into a fully operational, high-performing chemical manufacturing facility.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 25 years of robust experience covering the operation of medium-to-large chemical facilities, project planning, implementation, and government liaison.

Domain Expertise: Proven hands-on experience and technical familiarity with Tantalum and Niobium extraction/processing is highly critical.

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

Skills: Exceptional leadership, cross-functional collaboration, international liaison capabilities, and strong risk management skills.
