About the Opportunity:

We are representing a well established leader in the Paper Packaging industry with a significant footprint in the GCC and European markets. Operating from a state of the art facility in Ras Al-Khaimah, the organization is a specialist in sustainable packaging solutions, including high fidelity flexible film, laminated pouches, and high quality paper bag manufacturing.

We are seeking a high caliber General Manager to spearhead end to end business operations. This is a critical leadership role for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between technical manufacturing excellence and aggressive commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Execute overall business strategy and align manufacturing operations with long term corporate objectives.

- Operational Excellence: Oversee production, quality control, and supply chain management to ensure maximum efficiency and cost optimization.

- Financial & P&L Management: Full ownership of the P&L, including budget formulation, financial forecasting, and driving profitability.

- Commercial Growth: Support sales strategies, strengthen relationships with key international accounts, and enhance market positioning.

- People Leadership: Mentor a high performing management team and foster a culture of accountability and safety.

- Risk & Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to international regulatory, safety, and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

- Sector Expertise: Extensive experience as a General Manager or senior executive specifically within the Manufacturing or Paper Packaging industry.

- Techno-Commercial Skills: Proven ability to manage both the technical aspects of a manufacturing plant and the commercial/business development side.

- International Exposure: Currently handling International Business and export focused operations.

- Financial Acumen: Strong experience in P&L management and complex financial decision making.

- Educational Background: Degree in Engineering or Business Management from a premier institute is preferred.

- In Scope: We are exclusively looking for candidates with a background in Paper Packaging.

- Out of Scope: Candidates currently in the Rigid Packaging sector or those whose experience is limited solely to the Domestic/India market will not be considered for this role.
