
Role Overview:
As the General Manager HR, based in Mumbai, you will be a strategic partner to the business, driving the people agenda and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. You will work closely with business leaders and employees across various functions, providing HR leadership and guidance. Your contributions will directly impact employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness, ultimately contributing to the company's success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy to foster a high-performance culture and drive business results.
- Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide HR solutions that support their objectives, ensuring effective talent management and organizational development.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates, to build a strong and diverse workforce.
- Design and deliver leadership development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of current and future leaders, ensuring a robust leadership pipeline.
- Manage the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning, to drive employee performance and achieve business goals.
- Oversee the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with market trends, to attract and retain top talent.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to create a positive and inclusive work environment, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational success.
- Proven experience in talent management, including talent acquisition, performance management, and leadership development.
- Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles and practices, with the ability to design and administer competitive programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- A Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
