About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, and result-oriented General Manager - Finance to lead our financial operations, strategic planning, compliance, and governance frameworks. Based in Ahmedabad, you will be a key member of the executive management team, driving fiscal health, robust internal controls, investor engagement, and funding strategies to support our growth in high-precision engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Management:

- Partner closely with the Board, CXOs, and executive leadership to align financial strategies with business growth.

- Act as a trusted advisor to internal business heads, helping them understand financial implications and manage budgets.

- Manage high-level relationships with key external stakeholders, including banking partners and government bodies.

- Assist in formulating the companys future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.

- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.

2. Corporate Governance & Investor Relations:

- Lead Investor Relations by managing communication with investors, shareholders, and financial analysts.

- Ensure highest standards of Corporate Governance, maintaining transparency and alignment with regulatory frameworks.

- Oversee and manage accounting, HR, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments.

- Participate in key business decisions as a member of the executive management team.

3. Internal Audit, Risk Management & Compliance:

- Oversee the Internal Audit mechanism to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

- Construct, implement, and monitor reliable internal control systems to safeguard company assets.

- Maintain strong relations with internal/external auditors, investigating findings to implement corrective actions.

- Lead Direct & Indirect Taxation strategies and represent the company in all tax assessments.

- Identify, understand, and mitigate key elements of the companys risk profile.

- Ensure record-keeping complies fully with auditors and government regulatory agencies.

4. Funding & Treasury:

- Monitor cash balances and execute precise cash flow forecasting.

- Strategise and arrange for required debt and equity funding.
