Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Financial Closing & MIS:

- Establish and drive a structured monthly financial closing process.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly MIS and business reports.

- Standardise reporting formats and build consistency in financial data.

- Enable clear visibility on business performance across revenue, cost, and profitability.

2. Costing & Profitability Analysis:

- Develop and implement SKU-level costing frameworks.

- Build standard costing models and support variance analysis.

- Provide insights on product and channel profitability.

- Support pricing and margin improvement initiatives.

3. Inventory & Working Capital Management:

- Strengthen inventory tracking, reconciliation, and reporting processes.

- Implement inventory ageing and slow-moving analysis.

- Improve visibility and control over working capital components.

4. Finance Operations & Controls:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations.

- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records.

- Build and institutionalise processes, controls, and governance mechanisms.

- Drive adherence to timelines and financial discipline across functions.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 8 - 14 years of experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries.

- Experience in financial reporting, costing, and operational finance.

- Exposure to systems and financial modelling.

- CA or CMA desired, but not a constraint for the right candidate.

- Malayalam or Tamil speaking.
