General Manager - Finance & Accounts - Infra & Construction Company - CA

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Provide strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.

- Partner with senior leadership to drive profitability and cost optimization.

Accounting & Compliance:

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Ensure statutory compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, and other regulations.

- Handle audits (statutory, tax, internal) and liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Treasury & Fund Management:

- Manage working capital, liquidity planning, and cash flow optimization.

- Handle banking relationships, credit facilities, and fund-raising activities.

- Monitor forex exposure and manage risks.

MIS & Reporting:

- Develop robust MIS systems and dashboards for management reporting

Support investor presentations, board meetings, and strategy reviews.

Team Leadership & Governance:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.

- Strengthen internal financial controls, policies, and SOPs.

- Ensure ethical financial practices and strong corporate governance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS).

- Expertise in taxation (Direct & Indirect) and corporate laws.

- Proven track record in financial planning, cost control, and profitability improvement.

- Strategic mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
