Position: General Manager - Finance & Accounts

Location: Hosur

Position Summary:

An MNC in manufacturing is seeking a General Manager - Finance & Accounts to lead the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring strong governance, compliance, and long- term value creation. The role also oversees business controlling functions to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and strategic decision- making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with business objectives.

- Oversee Accounts, Treasury, Taxation, Costing, and Audit functions with accurate and timely reporting.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, etc.).

- Manage banking relationships, optimize working capital, and lead risk management.

- Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and sales teams to improve operational performance.

- Drive profitability improvement through analytics, variance analysis, and KPI monitoring.

- Support new product costing, capex evaluations, and strategic business decisions.

- Lead annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning.

- Drive digital transformation in finance through ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), automation, and analytics.

- Ensure strong internal financial controls, governance, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Provide strategic and commercial support for new business opportunities, joint ventures, and M&A.

- Lead and develop finance teams, implement succession planning, and foster ethical standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Qualified CA / CMA from a reputed institution.

- 20+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in MNCs, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.

- Strong expertise in manufacturing finance, cost controlling, budgeting, ERP systems, and business partnering.
