Role Overview:
The General Manager of Finance and Accounts will serve as the financial anchor for our Ahmedabad operations, overseeing the entire spectrum of fiscal management, reporting, and strategic planning. You will work closely with the leadership team to translate complex financial data into actionable insights that drive business profitability. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance and financial health, acting as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external auditors while maintaining a seamless flow of financial operations in a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct the end-to-end accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to statutory requirements.
- Formulate and execute strategic financial plans that align with the company's long-term growth objectives and revenue targets.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process to provide the management team with a clear roadmap for resource allocation.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to maintain liquidity and optimize the company's financial position.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance activities to mitigate financial risks and ensure timely filing of all regulatory returns.
- Communicate complex financial performance metrics to non-financial stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making across departments.
Required Skillset:- Demonstrated expertise in managing full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and complex budgeting processes within a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Gujarati, both verbal and written, to effectively manage local stakeholder relationships and regional regulatory interactions.
- Proven ability to analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and strategic growth levers.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead finance teams and collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership.
- Professional qualification such as CA or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute, reflecting a strong foundation in financial principles.
- High level of adaptability to an on-site work environment in Ahmedabad, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting setting.
