About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled GM Finance to lead the Finance & Controllership function. This is a controller-heavy role, requiring deep expertise in accounting, compliance, audit, and taxation, along with strong exposure to international finance. The ideal candidate will bring structured financial discipline, strong governance orientation, and the ability to support business growth across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the full spectrum of Controllership including accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory compliance.

- Ensure timely completion of internal and statutory audits; strengthen internal controls and risk frameworks.

- Oversee direct & indirect taxation, including planning, assessments, filings, and regulatory liaison.

- Manage international finance operations, including foreign entity compliances, cross-border transactions, treasury, and global reporting standards.

- Drive monthly/quarterly closing, MIS, budgeting, and variance analysis.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial discipline and process standardisation.

- Implement automation tools and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

- Ensure adherence to corporate governance requirements and regulatory guidelines.

Key Requirements:

- Qualified CA with 12-20 years of experience (flexible based on expertise).

- Strong domain knowledge in accounting, controllership, compliance, audit, and taxation.

- Mandatory exposure to international finance.

- Preference for candidates from pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors.

- Experience working with multi-country operations is a strong advantage.

- Proven ability to handle complex financial environments and manage multiple stakeholders.
