General Manager - Finance

Position Summary:

The role demands strong accounting knowledge, leadership in managing Opex and Capex, and an ability to analyze financial data to drive decision-making.

The role also ensures compliance, effective reporting, and continuous process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and implement fixed asset inventory processes, including disposal recommendations, useful life assignments, and depreciation schedules.

- Review fixed asset accounting, including monthly entries for additions, retirements, adjustments, and depreciation.

- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, budget vs. actual variance, and other financial dashboards for management and stakeholders.

- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for operational and capital expenditure decisions.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely reports.

- Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the shared services function.

- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.

- Support internal and external audit processes and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

- Strong expertise in MIS reporting, financial analysis, and reporting tools.

- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate high-performing finance teams.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a process improvement mindset
