Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager Business Development to lead key customer relationships and drive revenue growth in the automotive components space.
The ideal candidate will have deep exposure to Indian OEMs and a proven record of managing high-value accounts and new product programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and strengthen relationships with domestic OEM customers.
- Drive budgeting and mid-range sales planning strategies.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across India.
- Oversee successful execution of new product programs as part of cross-functional teams.
- Track sales vs. budget and take ownership of targets and realization.
- Develop and expand business in the Hoses & Pipes segment.
- Resolve customer quality concerns and handle field complaints proactively.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Key Account Management in the automotive components industry.
- Graduate in Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
- Strong understanding of OEM sales, project management, and automotive quality expectations.
- Experience handling fluid transmission solutions (hoses, pipes) is preferred.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional customer-centric initiatives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
- Open to working from Faridabad.
