
Job Description: Traffic Designer
- Develop efficient internal traffic circulation plans for buildings, including vehicle entry/exit points, loading zones, and pedestrian movement.
- Work with architects, urban planners, civil engineers, and project stakeholders to integrate traffic solutions into overall building design.
- Design parking structures, vehicle stacking systems, and access control measures to maximize capacity and efficiency.
- Ensure smooth pedestrian flow, integrating pathways, escalators, elevators, and emergency exits.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Incorporate smart traffic management solutions, such as automated parking, traffic sensors, and digital way finding systems.
- Use traffic simulation software to predict congestion points and optimize movement.
- Implement eco-friendly traffic solutions, such as EV charging stations and bicycle-friendly infrastructure.
- Design clear, effective signage for vehicular and pedestrian navigation within buildings.
- Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
- Certification in transportation planning or traffic engineering (e.g., P.E., PTOE) is a plus.
Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related fields.
