Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory issues
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes and drive timely implementation
- Manage disputes and support litigation strategies in coordination with external counsel
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, intellectual property, and related laws
- Design, implement, and run a robust compliance framework (policies, SOPs, monitoring)
- Lead internal audits, compliance reviews, and remediation activities
- Manage regulatory filings, inspections, and engagement with authorities
- Oversee anti- bribery, anti- corruption, and whistleblowing mechanisms
- Conduct compliance training and awareness programs
- Support corporate secretarial functions: board meetings, statutory filings, coordination
- Identify legal & compliance risks in new business initiatives and propose mitigation
- Participate in internal risk assessments and advise on remediation
Qualifications & Experience:
- LLB/LLM and CS (mandatory)
- 15-20 years of post- qualification experience, with strong exposure to compliance frameworks
- Deep understanding of corporate, labor, data privacy, and anti- corruption laws
- Proven ability to influence, lead, and manage legal/compliance at a senior level
