Role Overview:

The Vice President - Operations will be responsible for leading, scaling, and transforming GeBBS' US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) operations across multiple India delivery centers. This executive will drive operational excellence, digital innovation, and sustainable financial growth. The role demands strategic foresight, hands-on leadership, and a proven ability to deliver measurable performance, client satisfaction, and employee engagement in a dynamic global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

- Lead end-to-end RCM operations (Billing, AR, Denials, Payment Posting, Credit Balance) across multi-site India delivery centers.

- Ensure consistent achievement of SLAs, KPIs, and client contractual commitments.

- Establish a data-driven operations management framework using real-time dashboards, analytics, and continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma).

- Build scalable delivery models aligned with evolving client and market demands.

2. Financial Performance & Business Management

- Own full P&L accountability for the RCM vertical.

- Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, and financial forecasts.

- Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.

- Ensure effective pricing, contract governance, and financial control mechanisms.

3. Client Relationship & Strategic Growth

- Act as the executive sponsor for key clients across provider and payer segments.

- Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive steering committee meetings.

- Identify new business opportunities, value-add initiatives, and digital transformation projects for existing clients.

- Drive client retention, referenceability, and satisfaction (CSAT/NPS).

4. Transformation, Technology & Digital Enablement

- Drive the RCM digital transformation roadmap in collaboration with Technology, Product, and Data Science teams.

- Champion the adoption of AI, RPA, GenAI, analytics, and workflow automation to enhance accuracy, productivity, and decision-making.

- Lead large-scale process re-engineering and modernization initiatives for higher efficiency and reduced dependency on manual interventions.

- Benchmark performance against industry best practices (HFMA/MGMA) and implement continuous improvement programs.

5. Leadership, People & Culture

- Lead and inspire a workforce across multiple cities.

- Develop next-generation leaders through structured succession planning and leadership development programs.

- Foster a high-performance culture centered on accountability, transparency, inclusion, and learning.

- Partner with HR to drive workforce planning, skill development, and engagement initiatives.

- Champion organizational change management during digital and operational transformations.

6. Governance, Risk & Compliance

- Ensure 100% adherence to HIPAA, SOC 2, and client-specific compliance frameworks.

- Establish a robust internal control framework for information security, data privacy, and business continuity.

- Develop and monitor KPIs related to compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation.

- Partner with legal, compliance, and audit functions to ensure seamless governance across all engagements.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate closely with Sales, Transition, Finance, IT, Product, and HR teams for aligned strategy execution.

- Provide operational inputs during pre-sales, solutioning, and client onboarding stages.

Experience & Qualifications :

- Education: Graduate degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.

- Experience: Minimum 21-25 years in US Healthcare RCM, with at least 8+ years in executive leadership managing multi-site delivery operations.

- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operations (1,000+ FTEs) with multi-location leadership.

- Proven expertise in P&L management, digital transformation, automation integration, and client engagement.

- Strong acumen in data-driven decision-making, process re-engineering, and operational analytics.

- Deep understanding of US healthcare payer and provider ecosystems, compliance standards, and emerging RCM trends.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities with a strategic, results-oriented mindset.

- Exposure to AI, RPA, GenAI, and advanced analytics tools for productivity and accuracy enhancement.
