Functional Consultant - SAP PS/PM/CS

- We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on SAP Functional Consultant to provide expert functional support, maintenance, and continuous process integrity for our critical Project Systems (PS), Plant Maintenance (PM), and Customer Service (CS) landscapes.

- This role's primary focus will be ensuring the stability, accurate financial tracking (CapEx/OpEx), and operational excellence of project and maintenance processes in a live S/4HANA Project Systems environment.

Key Responsibilities & Support Functional Deliverables

1. System Stabilization & Incident Management (Support Focus):

- Production Support: Serve as the Level 2/3 functional expert for all post-go-live incidents and tickets impacting Project Structures, WBS, networks, and costing flows.

- Prioritize and resolve critical transactional errors in project creation, time confirmation, and material movements.

- Financial Reconciliation: Troubleshoot complex integration issues with FI/CO, specifically focused on discrepancies in budget-to-actual tracking, period-end settlements, and CapEx/OpEx cost reconciliation.

- Integration Support: Monitor and resolve functional issues arising from the integration of PM (maintenance) and CS (customer service) orders with financial posting and material reservations.

Functional Configuration Maintenance & Continuous Improvement:

- Configuration Control: Maintain and govern the functional configuration of Project Structures, PM notification types, and CS order types post-implementation, adapting configurations for minor business changes and system updates.

- Reporting & Analytics Support: Provide functional expertise to support users utilizing CapEx and project forecasting dashboards, troubleshooting underlying data issues, and ensuring the accuracy of data extraction.

- User Support & Training: Develop and update knowledge base articles (KBA) and provide advanced functional support to project managers and operational teams on complex processes, ensuring high user proficiency.

Core Technical Understanding (Context):

- Core Systems Knowledge: Maintain deep functional understanding of Project Structures, WBS, networks, and costing principles to effectively diagnose system behavior.

- Industry Context: Apply an understanding of engineering / construction processes to prioritize and address operational issues that impact project delivery timelines.

- S/4HANA Compliance: Ensure all maintenance and support changes adhere to the configuration best practices established during the mandatory S/4 Project Systems implementation
