Description:


The Head of Franchise will be responsible for leading the strategic growth, development, and performance of the franchise network. This role involves overseeing franchise recruitment, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining brand standards, and supporting franchisees in achieving commercial success.

You will act as a key liaison between the franchisor and franchisees, driving consistency, profitability, and brand integrity across all locations.



Key Responsibilities:



Franchise Development & Expansion:

- Develop and execute the franchise expansion strategy across local and international markets.

- Identify and evaluate potential franchise partners.

- Lead negotiations and manage the end-to-end franchise acquisition process.

- Conduct market research and site selection feasibility.



Franchisee Support & Operations:

- Ensure operational standards and brand compliance across all franchise outlets.

- Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing support for franchise partners.

- Establish systems for performance tracking and business reviews.

- Address and resolve franchisee operational or business challenges.



Strategic Leadership & Planning:

- Set and monitor KPIs related to franchise growth, performance, and profitability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, training, legal).

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology adoption.



Brand & Customer Experience Management:

- Maintain brand consistency across the franchise network.

- Support franchisees in delivering excellent customer experience.

- Roll out marketing campaigns and ensure franchisee alignment.



Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure adherence to franchise agreements, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

- Conduct regular audits and compliance checks.

- Manage disputes and enforce corrective actions when necessary.



Key Requirements:



Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).



Experience:


- 10-12 years of experience in franchise operations or business development.

- Proven track record of expanding franchise networks and improving franchisee performance.

- Experience managing cross-regional or multi-country franchise systems is a plus.



Skills:


- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

- Deep understanding of franchise business models and unit economics.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a matrix organization.



KPIs / Success Metrics:


- Number of new franchises opened per year.

- Franchisee satisfaction and retention rates.

- Average Unit Volume (AUV) and system-wide sales growth.

- Operational compliance and brand audit scores.

- Time to launch new franchise locations.
