Role Overview

Responsible for managing end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and ensuring smooth transition from development to mass production. The role involves coordinating with customers, internal cross-functional teams, and manufacturing operations to ensure production readiness, resolve issues, and drive operational efficiency. The position also includes developing and leading Operations Program Management (OPM) and Capex teams to support manufacturing expansion and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from planning through production ramp-up.

- Ensure operational readiness for NPI including process validation, line setup, tooling, and equipment readiness.

- Track project milestones and timelines to ensure timely and successful product launch.

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during NPI and mass production stages.

- Follow up on customer requirements, requests, and action items to ensure timely resolution.

- Provide regular project updates and manage customer escalations when necessary.

- Coordinate with internal teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure smooth NPI execution.

- Address and resolve issues related to NPI and mass production (MP) with both internal teams and customers.

- Drive problem-solving initiatives and implement corrective actions to maintain production quality and efficiency.

- Build, train, and manage Operations Program Management (OPM) teams to support project execution.

- Lead and develop the Capex team for planning and execution of manufacturing equipment and automation investments.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing productivity and operational performance.

Key Skills & Requirements

- Experience in ICT / Electronics Manufacturing industry.

- Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- In-depth understanding of NPI processes and product launch cycles.

- Strong knowledge of factory manufacturing processes and production operations.

- Exposure to automation equipment and industrial manufacturing technologies is preferred.

- Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills.

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle production and customer-related challenges effectively.
