The Role: Head of Human Resources

As the HR Leader at Flipspaces, you will be the architect of our people strategy, culture, and governance framework-building from startup roots into a scalable, globally compliant, and high-performing organization.

You'll partner directly with the founders and leadership team to create a future-ready workplace that balances scale with soul, growth with governance, and vision with values.

Key Responsibilities

Culture, Learning & Engagement

- Foster a high-ownership, agile, and psychologically safe workplace.

- Launch org-wide L&D, onboarding, and leadership development initiatives.

- Drive Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification and employee NPS programs.

- Build structured feedback loops (30-60-90 day reviews, pulse surveys, exit interviews).

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

- Lead hiring across functions and geographies aligned with business goals.

- Set up data-driven recruitment systems, TA dashboards, and referral programs.

- Strengthen employer branding in India and international markets.

- Drive senior and leadership hiring to build a high-caliber management team.

Compliance, ESG & Governance

- Lead ESG initiatives aligned with company values and investor expectations.

- Drive HR due diligence for fundraising, investor audits, and M&A.

- Ensure full regulatory compliance (labour laws, PF, ESI, POSH, Shops & Establishment, etc.).

- Build HR governance frameworks, grievance redressal, and policy standardization across geographies.

Compensation, Rewards & ESOPs

- Design competitive compensation structures, variable pay, and ESOP programs.

- Align rewards with business outcomes and cultural contribution.

- Manage ESOP frameworks and ensure alignment with retention goals.

People Strategy & Org Design

- Collaborate with the CEO on org design, succession planning, and OKR systems.

- Lead talent reviews and leadership capability mapping.

- Develop scalable processes for performance management.

People Operations & Automation

- Digitize HR operations including onboarding, payroll, and attendance.

- Build dashboards to monitor attrition, engagement, and productivity metrics.

- Deploy HR tech solutions to enable seamless collaboration across global teams.

HR Team Leadership

- Build and mentor a high-performing HR team across TA, HRBP, L&D, and Ops.

- Foster a culture of ownership, agility, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- 12-15 years of strategic HR leadership experience.

- Proven experience managing 500+ employees across multiple geographies.

- Expertise in ESG, audits, compliance, ESOP structuring, and GPTW initiatives.

- Strong background in quality hiring, OKR design, HR automation, and analytics.

- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

- Tier-1 institute background (IIMs, XLRI, or equivalent) preferred.
