- Develop and implement HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business objectives and participate in the strategic planning process to integrate these plans into the overall business plan. Ensure that overall strategy is aligned with overall business. - Play a strategic role in the direction of the people management function in the business through the undertaking of appropriate diagnostic measures especially in the new ways of working for Flipkart. - Take people initiatives to support the commercial functions. - Ensure that there is alignment between people management strategies and the existing business's policies and procedures - Consulting with the stakeholders and providing daily HR guidance. - Resolving complex employee relations issues and addressing grievances - Leverage COEs and shared services to define and deliver the people strategy - Performance Management - ensure goal alignment to business strategy and ensure performance differentiation is achieved through calibration and coaching. - Reward - ensure alignment with performance calibration, and that we are leveraging to recognize results. - Learning and Development - identify areas of development and then work with the internal COE to source or create programs. - Team Effectiveness - develop a strong leadership team; provide coaching and facilitation to the business on how to drive effective teams. - Talent Resourcing - ensure that the function is attracting, retaining and developing the right level of talent which enables them to meet our current and future talent needs while developing talent for broader organization. To succeed in this role - you should have the following: - Highly accomplished HR Leader with 12+ years of experience having worked with global companies and thereby managed scale and complexity. - Strong credibility of building great organizations renowned for HR practices. - Good business acumen with proven ability to converge HR with business. - Has the ability to thrive in increasing complexity, and is at the forefront of change. - Think strategically about the business, drive change, challenge the status quo and inspire an organization to think big and follow through on execution. - Demonstrated ability and experience advising and influencing executives, providing insights that lead to key decision making within the business. - Led and developed Human Resources team members and built succession in the HR teams.
