About the team

In Private Brands, the candidate will be responsible for discovering / managing sources and procurement pricing for products for own label of products as well as licensed brands

Private brands in Flipkart brings in and manages products across a broad spectrum of products in Consumer durables and Electronics

About the Role

- Sourcing plan and requirements closure

- Supplier landscaping NPD and Cost reduction

- Responsible to work with Cost Break Down models for all products

- Drive cost improvement initiatives and deliver constant savings

- Benchmark cost data with market to deliver cost improvements

- Create Supplier data base of all potential suppliers,

- Lead RFQ's, audits and prototyping PO/rolling plan to production adherence

- Rolling plan creation, achieving Fulfillment rate targets Payment terms and contract finalization along with agreement

- Responsible for presenting the final business case proposal, including Risk Assessment / Gap Analysis

To succeed in this role, you should have the following:

- Sourcing knowledge, Supplier knowledge and relationship management, Negotiation, Component and BOM costing, Production scheduling, Supply chain and Logistics, Payment terms and TOT commercials

- Technical knowledge of consumer durables especially in washing machines Commodity and Industry behavior

- Knowledge of compliances, regulations, production processes

- Decent knowledge of excel, presentation skills, cross functional engagement skills
