First Solar - Manager - Warehouse Operations

Job Title: ManagerWarehouse Operations Site.

Reports To: Sr ManagerLogistics and Warehouse Operations.

Job Status: Exempt (Salaried).

Basic Job Functions:

- Responsible for assuring First Solar achieves best in class warehouse operations from a price, service, and performance perspective for all incoming and outgoing shipments.

- Leading a team of Warehouse Leads, Warehouse Supervisors, Shipping & Receiving Co-coordinators to ensure departmental goals are met.

- Manage shipping and receiving functions in most cost and resources efficient manner by managing and controlling the daily activities of inventory management, financial resources management, storage strategy and process adherence.

- Full responsibility in Total Quality and Compliance of Warehouse Data, Processes and Documentation in Shipping & Receiving by initiating and managing daily processes, activities, improvement projects and programs.

Education / Experience:.

- At least five (5) years of related Managerial experience or holding leadership positions in warehouse operations.

- Experience in MHE handling and Continuous Improvement Project Management would be helpful.

- Experience working in a large operation for a large multinational corporation.

- Claims related to inventory.

- Incoming and outgoing.

- Two (2) year Master Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Warehouse/Transportation or Business-related field.

- Certification in Warehouse Management or Logistic & Transportation Program is preferred.

Required Skills/Competencies:.

- Negotiations skills.

- Communicate effectively.

- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office (or equivalent).

- Systems experience with at least one MRP/ERP system.

- Will walk and climb stairs.

- Will reach over shoulder heights and below waist.

- Required to use hands to lift, handle, carry or feel.

- May be required to kneel, bend, talk and hear.

- Specific Vision Abilities Are Required.
