- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team in Mumbai. This is a critical full-time, on-site role where you will be instrumental in driving our sales growth and expanding our market presence. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team, actively generating new business opportunities, and cultivating strong, lasting relationships with clients.
- You will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales strategies, analyzing market trends to identify new avenues for growth, and ensuring the consistent achievement of ambitious sales targets. This position demands a proactive approach to customer satisfaction and a collaborative spirit to work cross-functionally with other departments, contributing significantly to First Adviser's overall business objectives. The role also involves active participation in sales meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development to stay ahead in the competitive financial landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets, aligning with the company's overall business goals.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand the client base, and drive revenue growth across various retail loan products (unsecured and secured).
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth areas.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor sales performance against targets, prepare comprehensive sales reports, and present insights to senior management. Utilize CRM software effectively for tracking and reporting.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and alignment of sales efforts with broader business initiatives.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, regulatory compliance standards, and our strong ethics-driven approach, maintaining transparency and data security.
- Training & Mentorship: Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to the sales team, enhancing their skills and product knowledge.
- Problem Solving: Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively to maintain positive customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5-7 years of progressive experience in sales and business development, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Sales & Business Acumen: Strong proficiency in sales techniques, lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals. Demonstrated ability to drive new business growth.
- Leadership & Team Management: Proven experience in managing, motivating, and developing a sales team.
