Position: Financial Controller

Organization: Education Sector

Location: Hyderabad.

Reporting: CFO

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial governance, compliance, and internal controls across the organization

- Drive financial accounting & reporting in line with IND AS and IGAAP

- Ensure a robust month-end close process with strong checks and balances

- Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring timely closure

- Lead ERP enhancements and automation of finance processes

- Oversee P2P and O2C cycles with strong reconciliation and analytics

- Ensure compliance with tax laws, corporate regulations, and industry standards

- Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements

- Drive balance sheet reviews, TB analysis, and leadership reporting

- Support Board reporting with high-quality presentations and insights

- Lead working capital optimization and cash flow management

- Drive cost optimization and efficiency initiatives

Ideal Profile:

- Qualified CA with 14-18 years of experience, currently in a Financial Controller capacity

- Strong expertise in IND AS, IGAAP, and direct/indirect taxation

- Experience in multi-entity / holding-subsidiary structures

- Hands-on exposure to ERP systems (preferably Oracle)

- Proven ability to lead large teams (100+) and influence cross-functional stakeholders

- Strong focus on automation, process excellence, and scalability
