Job Summary:

The Financial Controller / Financial Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and risk management within the manufacturing/energy sector.

This role requires strategic financial planning, cost control, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate financial policies.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership in financial decision-making, improve financial processes, and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of Financial Accounts:

- Prepare Financials in line with IND AS with knowledge of latest Accounting standards and Limited Review.

- Ability to prepare in tight schedule in line with requirements of SEBI and ICAI.

Financial Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with industry standards (IFRS/GAAP).

- Manage audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance requirements.

Cost Management & Efficiency:

- Monitor and control operational and capital expenditures.

- Optimize cost structures to enhance profitability.

- Implement financial controls to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Risk Management & Internal Controls:

- Establish strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks.

- Monitor financial transactions for compliance and accuracy.

- Ensure regulatory compliance with financial laws and industry-specific regulations.

Stakeholder & Leadership Collaboration:

- Work closely with senior management to provide financial insights.

- Liaise with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and investors as needed.

- Support decision-making by providing financial analyses and recommendations.

Financial Systems & Process Improvements:

- Enhance financial systems and reporting tools for better efficiency.

- Lead financial transformation initiatives, including automation and ERP improvements.
