Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Project Accounting:
- Manage project-level accounting and financial reporting across multiple business units and entities.
- Monitor project profitability, revenue recognition, cost allocation, and financial performance.
- Ensure accurate recording of project expenditures, capital costs, and operational expenses.
- Track project budgets, commitments, and financial milestones.
- Provide financial insights to support project execution and profitability improvement.
Financial Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Develop comprehensive MIS reports for leadership, investors, and stakeholders.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Present key financial metrics, project performance indicators, and business insights to management.
- Support board presentations and strategic review meetings.
Investor Reporting & Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare investor updates, financial summaries, and reporting packages.
- Coordinate with investors, lenders, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Maintain financial transparency and ensure timely communication of business performance.
- Support due diligence exercises, fundraising initiatives, and investment evaluations.
- Assist in preparing data rooms and financial documentation for investors.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
- Manage treasury operations and banking relationships.
- Develop and monitor cash flow forecasts across projects and entities.
- Optimize working capital and liquidity management.
- Ensure adequate funding availability for project execution and operational requirements.
- Monitor debt servicing obligations, lender covenants, and financing arrangements.
Budgeting & Financial Planning:
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Collaborate with business teams to develop project and corporate budgets.
- Perform variance analysis and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Build financial models to evaluate project viability and investment opportunities.
- Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
Audit, Compliance & Governance:
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance practices.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain complete audit readiness across all entities and projects.
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks.
Taxation & Transfer Pricing:
- Oversee GST, direct taxation, withholding tax, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation and compliance for cross-border transactions.
- Coordinate with tax advisors and consultants on tax planning and compliance matters.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and regulatory submissions.
- Support tax assessments, audits, and litigation matters when required.
ERP Implementation & Process Improvement:
- Lead ERP implementation and finance transformation initiatives.
- Drive automation of finance processes, reporting, and controls.
- Improve financial systems, workflows, and operational efficiencies.
- Establish scalable processes to support business growth and expansion.
- Ensure data integrity and robust reporting mechanisms across platforms.
Cross-Border Entity & SPV Management:
- Oversee financial operations of overseas subsidiaries, project entities, and SPVs.
- Manage consolidation and reporting across multiple legal entities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
- Coordinate with external service providers, consultants, and auditors across jurisdictions.
- Support international expansion and project structuring initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- 10-12 years of relevant finance experience.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, project accounting, treasury management, and compliance.
- Experience managing audits, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Experience handling investor reporting and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
