Finance Lead - Director Level

Location: Gurugram, India

Reports to: Partner - Finance Advisory

Firm: One of the Big 4

Key Responsibilities:

1) Financial Management & Controllership:

Lead end-to-end financial reporting, MIS, statutory accounting, and audit processes in compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP. Ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial statements and submissions.

2) Business Finance & Planning:

Own budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. Deliver analytical insights, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations to support leadership decision-making.

3) Corporate Finance & Strategy:

Support capital structuring, M&A evaluations, and investment decisions. Lead financial due diligence and assess ROI on strategic growth initiatives.

4) Process Excellence & Transformation:

Strengthen internal control frameworks, streamline processes, and implement automation for improved efficiency, compliance, and financial discipline.

5) Taxation & Compliance:

Oversee direct and indirect tax functions, ensuring timely filings, audits, and adherence to all regulatory requirements.

6) Treasury & Working Capital:

Manage cash flow, fund utilization, and banking relationships. Drive optimal liquidity and treasury operations.

7) Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with Partners, business leaders, and global stakeholders to align financial goals and ensure transparent, insight-driven reporting.

Key Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory.

- 14+ years of post-qualification experience in controllership, business finance, and corporate finance roles.

- Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance, taxation, and financial governance.

- Proven experience in financial planning, transformation, and performance management.

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

- Prior exposure to professional services firms or MNC environments preferred.
