Finance Head - Sports Tech - CA

For one of our client in the Sports Tech:

Our Client is on a mission to make sports more accessible by building the digital backbone for sports facilities and players across India.

As the Finance Head, you will play a vital role in reviewing the economic health and overseeing the success of our organisation.

You will manage all financial & accounting activities, analyse financial data and provide strategic guidance to the executive team.

Your expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting will be essential in driving the company towards achieving its economic objectives.

Objectives of this role:

- Hire and build a strong accounts team for scratch.

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

- Prepare financial reports and forecasts, including balance sheets, income statements, MIS and cash flow statements.

- Monitor and manage the companys budget, expenses and cash flow, ensuring that the

financial targets are achieved.

- Conduct financial analysis and research to support business decisions and identify areas for improvement.

Role & Responsibilities

- Oversee the accounting department and ensure that the financial records are accurate.

- Manage relationships with banks, investors and other financial institutions to ensure that the

company has access to the necessary capital to fund its operations.

- Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales, marketing and operations and help achieve their objectives.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 10-15 years of experience in financial management & accounting as a Chartered Accountant.

- Strong understanding of corporate financial planning, risk management and investment strategies.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, financial regulations and tax regulations in India.

- Analytical skills to interpret large volumes of data, spot anomalies and assess risks in economic forecasts.
