Role Summary:

We are looking for an experienced accounts and finance leader (8+ years post CA), to undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, business finance, financial planning, taxation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures, and financial risk management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Review of financial statements as per Accounting Standards and IND AS:

- Well versed with accounting standards and preparation of financials as per the accounting standards

- Preparation of financials as per IND AS and Comply with other IND AS requirements

Accounts Department:

- Managing and overseeing all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, Cost centre Accounting and Revenue Recognition

- Lead & support month-end and year-end close process

Reporting:

- Monitoring and analysing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements including publishing of timely monthly financial statements, budget vs Actual with variances, product-wise cost-centre reports, and other analytical reports as per requirement

- Review of regulatory reporting & returns

Internal Control:

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Research technical accounting issues for compliance as per relevant Acts.

Statutory:

- Handling Statutory, Internal, IFC, Tax audits, RBI inspections, compliances

- Manage and comply with local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings

Other Requirements:

- Interface with IT team in getting all deliverables on IT system/software from accounts and finance standpoint

- Conduct periodic reviews of the systems and process and give feedback / inputs to IT team for enhancement of better accounting and financial reporting

Team Management:

- Manage a team of 10+ people

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

- Qualified CA

- Proven working experience as Accounts and Finance Manager, preferably from any NBFC/Bank

- Between 8+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting/finance (Should have accounts finalization exposure)

- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

- Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year end close process (finalisation of accounts), and preparation of financial statements

- Working knowledge Excel, MS office, finance ERP, accounting software, BI tools

- Good with communications, collaborative and self-driven

- People management experience of 2+ years

- 2+ years experience in NBFC.
