About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Head to lead the financial operations across our Africa region. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, optimizing capital structure, and supporting strategic growth initiatives including M&A. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, and Mergers & Acquisitions, with a proven track record in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance Leadership

- Lead the regional finance function, ensuring alignment with global financial strategy and local market dynamics

- Partner with business leaders to drive profitability, cost optimization, and sustainable growth

- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning

FP&A

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across multiple business units

- Deliver accurate and timely financial reports and performance analysis

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance business performance

Treasury

- Manage liquidity, working capital, and cash flow across the region

- Optimize capital structure and banking relationships

- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations

Mergers & Acquisitions

- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration of M&A activities

- Collaborate with legal, tax, and operational teams to assess deal feasibility

- Drive post-merger integration and synergy realization Governance & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to internal controls, audit standards, and statutory requirements

- Lead risk management initiatives and implement best practices in financial governance
