Finance Head - Financial Planning & Analysis - CA

Summary:

We are seeking highly analytical FP&A candidate to join the finance team for one of our clients based in Mumbai. The FP&A role will be responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Role: Financial Planning & Analysis, Forecasting, Performance and P&L management

Location: Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.

- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization. Work closely with Sales and Plant finance on entire value chain.

- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.

- Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting. Anchor Business performance reviews and work closely with Business Heads, Global CFO, Investors and Board.

- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Mentor and develop FP&A team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

- Co-ordinate and manage transfer pricing process. Build E2E P&L

- Pricing Analysis and Working with commercial teams on pricing strategy

- Costs analytics: Working with teams on zero based budgeting

- Partnering with product management on NPD pipeline creation and projects tracking. Work with product teams on cost and productivity savings

Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years' experience in working in reputed Indian/ MNCs

- Strong in Financial Planning & Analysis function. SAP ECC6/ HANA working knowledge

Internal

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting. Excellent with numbers.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong analytical and forecasting skills. Excellent communication and people skills.
