Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Governance:

- Lead the overall finance strategy and establish robust financial governance frameworks.

- Partner with the leadership team on financial planning, business performance, and strategic decision-making.

- Drive financial discipline, profitability improvement, cost optimization, and efficient capital utilization.

- Establish and strengthen financial policies, processes, controls, and governance mechanisms.

Financial Operations & Reporting:

- Oversee end-to-end accounting and financial operations.

- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

- Lead financial consolidation, MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Provide actionable financial insights to senior management and business stakeholders.

Taxation & Compliance:

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory requirements.

- Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings and compliance.

- Manage tax assessments, audits, notices, and interactions with external advisors and authorities.

- Ensure adherence to applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.

Audit, Controls & Risk Management:

- Lead statutory, internal, and financial audits.

- Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure effective control mechanisms across the organization.

- Identify financial and operational risks and develop appropriate mitigation frameworks.

- Ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory/regulatory requirements.

Treasury & Cash Management:

- Oversee cash flow planning, working capital, liquidity, and treasury operations.

- Optimize cash utilization and ensure effective management of financial resources.

- Monitor banking relationships and financing requirements.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

- Collaborate closely with business, legal, operations, HR, and senior leadership teams.

- Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, consultants, bankers, and other external stakeholders.

- Present financial performance, risks, and key business insights to senior leadership.

Candidate Profile:

- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.

- Experience: 15 - 25 years of overall experience in finance, accounting, controllership, or financial management.

- Strong experience in a Finance Head / Financial Controller / senior finance leadership role.

- Proven expertise across accounting, taxation, audit, treasury, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.

- Experience in Services / Legal Services / IT Services & Consulting is preferred.

- Strong understanding of GST, TDS, direct taxation, statutory compliance, and financial governance.

- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing large or mid-sized finance teams.

- Strong analytical, commercial, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to work closely with senior leadership and influence business decisions through financial insights.
