Finance Head - Defence/Aerospace/Heavy Engineering

Finance Head:

Industry Preference: Defence, Aerospace, and Heavy Engineering companies.

CTC: 40 to 45 LPA.

Experience Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in managing Finance & Accounts of a manufacturing company independently.

- Experience in accounting packages is a must; SAP is preferred.

- Preferred experience of 3-4 years minimum in the India Defence Sector.

- JV and Project Costing experience is mandatory.

- Strong knowledge of Project Costing & Amortization.

- ROI & Risk Mitigation on Investment.

- Strong handholds on compliances including TAX, Export & Import Laws, Foreign Exchange, and Exim Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in formulating the company's future direction and make Annual Operating Plan/Budgeting.

- Profitability and P&L Management.

- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

- Manage the accounting, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments.

- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.

- Construct and monitor reliable control, checks, and balances of the financial system.

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements with finance.

- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.

- Monitor cash flow and cash forecasts.

- Maintain relations with external auditors and any other third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced.

- Undertake Financial Audit & Prepare Audit and financial Report of Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Half Yearly, Annually and present in Board of Director Meeting.

- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems including imports & exports.

- Maintain banking relationships & with Govt Officials like GST, EOU, SEZ etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience working with Financial information Systems.

- Good Interpersonal Skill and personal integrity.

- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.

- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP/Tally).

- Ability to strategize and solve problems.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and people skills.
