Finance Head/Chief Financial Officer- D2C/Retail - CA

Job Description:

- Manage end-to-end accounting, AR/AP, payroll, taxation, and statutory compliance.

- Finalize Trial Balances and provisions monthly and quarterly.

- Prepare monthly MIS, board decks, and investor reports.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and working capital management.

- Manage banking relationships and borrowing requirements.

- Handle financial due diligence, cap table management, and fundraising support.

- Lead audits and ensure timely completion.

- Design financial policies, internal controls, and approval workflows.

- Build and scale the finance team across accounts, FP&A, and compliance.

- Evaluate and implement financial systems.

- Manage external stakeholders, including banks, payroll partners, legal advisors, and CA/CS firms.

Candidate Requirements:

- Qualified CA with 10 - 12 years of experience.

- Experience managing finance for a 50 - 300 crore revenue company.

- Startup/scale-up experience strongly preferred.

- E-commerce, quick commerce, retail, or D2C accounting experience is an added advantage.

- Proven experience building or scaling a finance function.

- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

- Hands-on approach and ability to work in a fast-scaling, ambiguous environment.

- Experience with fundraising, financial due diligence, cap table management, and board reporting.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including investor and stakeholder communication.
